Maple Leaf is one of Seattle’s northernmost neighborhoods, and is jokingly called Maple Leaf, because of its closer proximity to Canada.

The area is also receiving somewhat of a facelift. Because citizens enjoy the location, many people are actually willing to bulldoze old homes and replace them with modern homes. This allows them to stay in the area, but live in a nice dwelling.

The Northgate Mall is the main area of commerce in Maple Leaf, but several other local businesses add a bit of Seattle home town flair.
